Labor Rights

We understand that to have a true democracy we must have democracy in the workplace. We believe firmly in the importance of unions in building worker power as unions are tools by which we as workers are able to have democratic influence over our pay, benefits, working conditions, and more. We support policies and focus on campaigns that protect workers’ rights, and improve the lives of workers, their families and their communities. We also strive for a world in which workers are not forced to work on behalf of others, but are themselves the owners and operators of their labor.
