Elections are one of the primary avenues through which people experience politics. DSA Eugene-Springfield supports electoral campaigns in the service of a transformative democratic socialist movement. This means not only voting for the people and policies that best reflect our values, but also fielding and supporting those people and policies shaped and influenced by our work within the organization, both directly and indirectly.

The Oregon Rebate is a ballot initiative that will rebate about $750 to every Oregonian every year; after increasing the minimum tax rate for the biggest corporations doing business in Oregon to 3% from its current less than 1%.
